Industries that are allowed to operate during ECQ, MECQ and GCQ
On May 16, 2020, more establishments started to resume business after Malacañang announced the list of industries that are authorized to operate under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), and general community quarantine (GCQ)
According to the Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution No. 35 recently approved by President Rodrigo Duterte, areas placed under MECQ will only allow for limited movement within zones for obtaining essential services and work. Additionally, up to 50 percent of industries can resume operations with safety protocols in place and others can deploy only 40 percent of workers on-site.
