Role-playing video game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet released  a new trailer that unveils new set of adorable Pokémons namely Smoliv, Pawmi and the hog pocket monster Lechonk who made trends right after because Filipinos are gushing and going wild over its cuteness and the fact that it is resembles the popular and mouth-watering Filipino dish Lechon.

On Pokémon's Instagram account,  Lechonk was introduced with the caption, "It may appear fat at first glance, but in reality, the Pokémon’s body is mostly muscle built by constantly walking around in search of food."

This muscular little ball as what netizens referred to was talked about on various social media platforms.

According to the Scarlet and Violet official website, they described Lechonk as a 'timid and fainthearted' little fella,  but once attacked or startled by its opponent, it will charge forward in panic. In addition, it is a gourmand with an excellent nose.

"Lechonk uses its sense of smell to find and eat only the most fragrant wild grasses and the richest Berries."

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be released on November 18, 2022.
