Baguio's latest man-made tourist spot, Igorot Stone Kingdom, shut down over safety issues
One of Baguio City's newest man-made tourist attractions, Igorot Stone Kingdom located along Long-long Road in Pinsao Proper which was opened in 2021 was ordered to shut down due safety issues and failure to comply with necessary requirements.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong ordered the closure of the 6,000-square meter park on Tuesday, November 8. Magalong stated that it has been operating without a business permit. Moreover, he emphasized that the stone structures inside the tourist spot were not covered by a building permit which puts its structural integrity in question.

No UPCAT for academic year 2021-2022, UP announces
The University of the Philippines (UP) announced on Tuesday, November 10, that it will not be holding its annual UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) for incoming freshman students for school year 2021-2022 due to the continuing threat of Coronavirus in the country.
The university said in their statement posted on UP’s official website that councils within the UP system “unanimously decided” to do away with the UPCAT “in light of logistical issues.”
