The widely popular series that premiered last 12th of February 2022 from tvN, ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’ starring Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk, has been a source of comfort and warmth to their viewers.

In the latest episode which aired last Sunday night, where they mostly focused on the gray side of the word “dreams”, the avid viewers were brought to tears as they watched the characters of Ji Seung-wan and Lee Ye-ji start their new beginnings.

Ji Seung-wan (Lee Joo-myung) is the top student in their highschool. She has seen the abusive behaviors of one of her teachers and decided to call him out. Unfortunately, it did not end well for her and decided to dropped out of school which compromised her chance to take the CSAT. Lee Ye-ji (Joo Bo-young), on the other hand, is a fencer together with Na Hee-do (Kim Tae-ri) and Go Yur-im (Bona) in the same highschool fencing team. But decided to quit to pursue a different path in life.

Both teenagers have spent most of their time working hard to better themselves in order to achieve their dreams but like any other thing in the world, nothing is ever permanent. Even your plans for the future, even your dreams. And that’s okay.

Giving up takes great courage, too. It doesn’t mean you’re a failure or you’re anything less. It just means you’re human. And as a human being, you are allowed to make mistakes, to get lost and to change. You can still start now, and you’ll soon realize that life is not a race but a pace of your own.

So to the other Ji Seung-wans and Lee Ye-jis out there, here’s to you and to your new beginnings!!

Catch the latest episodes of ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’ on Netflix every Saturdays and Sundays!
