How can you save the future without facing your past? Netflix has released a teaser trailer for The Adam Project, the sci-fi adventure from director Shawn Levy that stars Ryan Reynolds in the pairs reteam after the success of Free Guy.

The Adam Project is about a time-traveling pilot teams up with his younger self and his late father to come to terms with his past while saving the future. The trailer comes as the pic is expected to have a presence during Sunday’s Super Bowl broadcast on NBC, the biggest stage there is to promote its March 11 global release date on the streamer.

Written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin, The Adam Project centers on time-traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed (Reynolds), who after accidentally crash-landing in 2022 teams with his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell) on a mission to save the future — a mission that includes reconnecting with their father (Mark Ruffalo) who died when they were young. Jennifer Garner and Catherine Keener also star.
