Indeed, there’s a rainbow always after the rain! Once again, the wonderful community under the visible spectrum have proven the power of unity.
Despite rains, last Saturday, June 29, 2019, the Marikina City Sports Center was filled with magical colors as thousands of members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community marched for their rights and long-time fight against discrimination.

This year’s theme #ResistTogether is a tribute to the Stonewall Uprising 50 years ago- – a series of demonstrations against a police crackdown on a well-known gay bar in New York City.

Celebrities and advocates graced the historical march as they showed their supports to what they often called “Mga mahals”.
"It is a human rights movement –– and as such, is a call for active solidarity with other marginalized communities," march organizer Nicky Castillo said.
