Our well-loved tower defense game, Plants vs. Zombies is all set for all Filipino mobile gamers, Its soft launch in the Philippines was made last February 27, 2020, via the game publisher Electronic Arts (EA).

The application is free and now available on mobile devices now (IOS and Android). Three countries were a given for a soft launch namely the Philippines, Romania, and Ireland.

The purpose of the “soft launch” versus a full launch is to obtain user feedback, according to PopCap.

According to Popcap’s official announcement, the game has microtransactions, which can help you “speed up” progression if you take advantage of them.

The company wants to ensure the players that can have fun and successfully experience the excitement without having to pay a penny.

Big game changes

PVZ 3 is now in 3D graphics. It traded the cartoonish 2D aesthetic that it had in PVZ 1 and PVZ 2 for a more vibrant look.

Another big change in the newest installment is that it is in portrait mode, but since it's still in its soft launch phase, nothing is set in stone and some changes or adjustments should be anticipated once PVZ 3 is officially released worldwide.

One of the cool changes made in PVZ 3 is that there's no need to plant sunflowers anymore. There's already a sunflower on preset at the bottom part of the screen, which takes care of the sun production. So, players won't have to worry about allotting space for sunflowers.

One of the important new features of Plants vs. Zombies 3 is that it will let you connect and play with friends online with its Arena Mode and Tournaments where you can earn gems and seeds.

There will also be Clubs you can join in that lets you chat with other players, donate seeds, and acquire Club plants.
