It’s a brand new day for America and everything is perfect as the nation gear towards a fair and peaceful government.
Famous celebrities and performers rocked the evening of US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ inauguration event.
Katy Perry, one of the performers for the “Celebrating America” primetime inauguration special which aired across multiple TV networks and streaming platforms, has ended the day with a blast.
From her blockbuster album, she sang her 2010 smash hit song “Firework” as pyrotechnics burst behind the Washington Memorial on Wednesday, January 20.
As the singer who dressed in an all-white evening gown with matching cape and beaded sleeves performed at the Lincoln Memorial as fireworks shot across the sky above her, the camera showed President Joe Biden with first lady Dr. Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris with second gentleman Doug Emhoff standing on balconies overlooking the incredible display raining over Washington, D.C.

Perry announced her inaugural performance on Tuesday night by tweeting a photo of four patriotic microphones to choose from for her performance. For what it's worth, she went with the one covered in a bedazzled flag.
Among the performers were award-winning singers John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, and other famous faces gather remotely in honor of the new Biden administration.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the traditional inaugural balls were canceled, a spectacular firework show was offered instead.
Katy Kats, Perry’s fandom, expressed love and admiration to their idol as she literally brought “fireworks” to the nation’s capital.
