Holiday is around the corner and so parties and food preparations are on its way as well! Thinking about trying something new? No much cooking needed but still aesthetic on your table? We got you! Here’s the ingredients that you need for Charcuterie Filipino version. According to Corkdining website, Charcuterie is derived from French words flesh (chair) and cook (cuit). Used in late 15th century in France. And now, let’s create magic in Charcuterie platter by using our local favorites!

Ingredients:

Dingdong nuts/any local
Growers or Sugo Nuts
White cheese
Pretzels
Pocky pretzel sticks
Lala chocolates
Stick-O
Maple syrup
CDO Small ham
Local made Peperonni
Sliced ham
Grapes
Strawberries in can
Dried mangoes
Ube halaya
Kaong or Nata De Coco
Chocnut
Curly tops
Fita
Sky flakes
Hansel
Eden cheese

You may find the cheapest price of the above ingredients by going to both wet and dry market. This set will only cost around one thousand pesos not unless, you want a bigger platter. Also, it’s good for 5 to 7 people. Just prepare a wooden board or the charcuterie board, bread or meat knife (or you may slice it already since these are cold cuts) and partner it with any local wine or juice! Don’t forget to arrange all the ingredients beautifully. TIP: Do not put all the cold cut meats in one corner, it will be more desirable to savor by putting them in different corners.
